It is a specially manufactured metallic aggregate admixture with cement and stone/granite chips to provide the hardest surface to floorings and pavement which will remain wear-proof, dustproof, waterproof and oil-proof etc. USES By the use of CICO SURFACE HARDENER, the flooring and paving topping can be made hard surface which almost become wear and dust proof. It is ideally suited for use in all types of industrial floors which are subjected to heavy traffic and load movement. High polymer modified adhesive for fixing tiles and natural stone on interior and exterior floor & wall.

Designed especially for interior and exterior floor and wall installations of all types of ceramic tile, vitreous/vitrified, semi-vitreous tile, glass mosaic tiles, precast terrazzo, - and natural stones over concrete and on a variety of substrates. Good underwater shear bond allows this product to be used for wet areas like swimming pools, sauna, water bodies and washrooms. Can also be used as slurry bond adhesive in wet on wet applications, tile on tile applications.

Coverage: Approx. 55-60 Sft per 20 kg pack using 1/4͟x 1/4͟(6mm x 6mm) square notched trowel for a bed of 3mm.

Polymer based adhesive for fixing ceramic tiles and small format natural stone on dry areas of interior floor & interior wall up to a height of 3 Mtrs

Apply adhesive to the substrate with the flat side of the trowel, pressing firmly to work into surface. Comb on additional adhesive with the notched side. Use the proper sized notched trowel to ensure full bedding of the tile. Spread as much adhesive as can be covered with tile in 10 minutes. Back butter large format tiles (> 12”x12”) to provide full bedding and firm support. Place tiles into wet, sticky adhesive and beat in using a beating block and rubber mallet to imbed tile and adjust level. Check adhesive for complete coverage by periodically removing a tile and inspecting bedding adhesive transfer onto back of tile. Use of MYK LATICRETE spacer is recommended to provide grout joints between tiles / stones. The joint width shall be as per the recommendation of architect / engineer. Remove the spacers when the adhesive is set firm. If adhesive is skinned over (not sticky), remove and replace with fresh adhesive. For highly absorbent natural stones which may form a wet patch when adhesive is used, it is recommended to use suitable Laticrete Impregnating sealers on all sides. LATICRETE 3642 Latex admix can also be used as a bottom coat for natural stones to prevent or reduce wet patches during installation. Ready to use grey cement based tile adhesive for wall and floor tile fixing as well astile on tile application.
Pour Sika® Tilofix to potable water slowly while stirring continuously to get smooth paste. Allow 5 minutes interval and stir again. Apply the paste on prepared surface with 3mm approx. thickness and comb the surface with notched trowel. Place tiles within 10 minutes of mixing and press firmly with twisting movement. Uneven surface may require more than 3mm thickness. Use damp cloth to remove excess paste from tile surface.Tile joints may be filled by Sika® Tilogrout / Sika® Epoxy Tilogrout. Do not disturb tiles setting for first 24 hours
