DESCRIPTIONADVANTAGESBOSTIK CWP is a surface applied, integral crystallinewaterproofing material, which waterproofs andprotects concrete in depth. It consists of Portlandcement, specially treated quartz sand and a compoundof active chemicals. Bostik CWP needs water only tobe mixed prior to the application. When Bostik CWP isapplied to a concrete surface the active chemicalscombine with the free lime and moisture present inthe capillary tracts of the concrete to form aninsoluble, crystalline structure. These crystals fill thepores and minor shrinkage cracks in the concrete toprevent any further ingress, still allowing the concreteto breath.
